Very nice view of Faial and the coastline. My parents were born on the village that the AIrport is located on. They immigrated to the San Francisco Bay Area due to the Volcano that erupted on the island. I too have a private pilot license and this flight is on my bucket list!!!! thanks for a great experience!!

Hi I don't believe that it is possible to charter aircraft in the Azores. There are little single engine (SEP) airplanes.

Good Evening! Is there an opportunity to rent private single engine aircrafts around the acores islands? Even though flying 4 hours from Portugal over the vast atlantic ocean is very attractive from the aviation aspect, it is very money consumint to. I plan a trip around most islands of this archipelagio and would like to fly there at some days with my PPL(A)
